We, the Year 3 team, are delighted to welcome you to our class page for this academic year. We are excited to have the opportunity to work with each and every one of you and have every confidence that this year will be marked by growth, learning, and enjoyment.

As you may already be aware, we have an engaging line-up of subjects planned for the upcoming year. These include topics like "The Reasons Behind Living Near Volcanoes," "Exploring Life in Antarctica," and many more. These subjects have been thoughtfully selected to captivate your interest, present challenges, and spark your curiosity.

Frequent visits to this class page are essential to stay informed about important updates and information.

In closing, we extend our best wishes to all of you as you embark on this exciting journey with us. Our goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where you can thrive and reach your full potential.

Warm regards,

The Year 3 Team

Useful websites

Please see below a list of online resources for your child's learning at home.

You can use these to supplement what your child is learning at school, or to keep them learning if they're off school for any reason.

Homework

Homework will be assigned every Friday and is required to be submitted by the following Wednesday.

Kindly offer your child support with the assigned tasks, while also fostering their independence.

If you have any inquiries regarding the homework, do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Further Information

Pupils are encouraged to engage in reading for a minimum of 20 minutes per day. We encourage our parents to make a comment in their child's Home Reading Record so that their teachers can see what they have been reading at home.
