We are hugely proud of the extra curricular and extended curriculum offering at St Augustine’s Primary. From history to music, art to debating, there really is something for everyone. We believe that every student has the right to pursue something they are interested in and passionate about. If students come to us with an idea, we will do all we can to facilitate this and make it happen. Our subject leaders and leadership team facilitate a wide range of trips out, as well as bringing in fantastic guest speakers from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that our students are exposed to as many experiences as possible throughout their time in school.

Enrichment Opportunities
Cultural Capital
We offer a range of enrichment activities in order to expose all of our pupils to cultural experiences and background knowledge that will equip them with the knowledge and cultural capital that they need to succeed in life and propel them further in their education, careers and social development. Our staff organise a range of events to enrich the children’s learning experience and develop cultural capital, such as World Book Day, Royal College of Music workshops, author visits, Science Week and a range of other activities and visits. We also offer a range of extra-curricular clubs and musical experiences. All children in EYFS and KS1 take part in regular Forest School sessions and a Forest School Club is offered to pupils across the school. Pupils in Years 4 and 6 have the opportunity to take part in extended residential visits to provide for their broader development and enable them to discover and develop their interests and talents. Enrichment activities are also provided through our Federation with St Augustine’s CE High School.
Westminster Children's University
Westminster Children’s University
At St Augustine’s, we are proud to be a member of the Westminster Children’s University. This is an extracurricular project that has been created to provide free, inspiring and educational opportunities to young people in Westminster. The project seeks to engage children and young people in activities that will help them to transition from primary to secondary school and increase their cultural capital. Children gain points for extracurricular activities, including after school clubs (both those provided by the school and those accessed externally); school trips and workshops; activities offered by the Westminster Children’s University; and holiday clubs.
Through membership of the Westminster Children’s University, our pupils have had the opportunity to visit, London Zoo, attend a special ‘children’s opera’ performance, take part in drumming workshops and spend a day at Winter Wonderland, amongst many other exciting events.
