Online Learning Timetables and Links

Dear Parents/Carers,

During the Coronavirus pandemic, all schools are required to provide online learning provision to pupils who are self-isolating due to a positive COVID result. This provision is outlined within our school's COVID 19 Outbreak Management Plan and our Remote Learning: Guidance for Parents/Carers document, which can both be found on the website.

As part of our ongoing contingency plan for the continuation of education during the pandemic, we are providing Online Learning Timetables for each year group. These can be found on the school website in the Class Pages section https://www.st-augustines-primary.co.uk/class-pages/. If your child is absent from school due to COVID, please go to the relevant Online Learning Timetable for your child's class. On these timetables, you will find embedded links to online learning resources provided by online platforms such as The National Oak Academy, BBC Bitesize, Collins Big Cats and TTRockstars. There may also be links to other learning activities provided by the class teacher. Some of these links may require your child to log in to their Microsoft Teams account, so please make sure that they have their login and password, which were provided in the learning packs that were sent home just before the Christmas holiday.

During the Spring term 2022, we will be updating the timetables on a weekly basis to ensure that a comprehensive subject and topic coverage is being provided, in line with our school curriculum maps.  If your child is at home self-isolating, please make sure they access their online learning provision as much as possible during the hours of the school day (9:00am - 3:30pm) if they are well enough to do so.

We will return to Microsoft Teams based remote learning if whole class face-to-face teaching is required in the event of a lockdown or school closure. However, I sincerely hope that this will not be necessary.

We hope you are able to access the learning easily - however, if you do experience difficulties or require assistance, please contact your child's teacher in the first instance, or a member of the senior leadership team (SLT) if you have concerns.

Remember - please keep your child's logins for the following websites in a safe place at all times.

  • Microsoft Teams
  • Collins Big Cats (for EYFS and KS1 only)
  • TTRockstars (Year 2 and KS2 only)
